TL;DR
Google Japan has unveiled a DIY Gboard keyboard with keys mounted on a moving conveyor belt.
Instead of moving your hand around a traditional keyboard, you can simply wait for the key you want to type to roll past.
You can’t buy it, but Google has published the blueprints as open source, so you can actually build one.
Google has once again decided that keyboards are far too normal. For its annual October 1 tradition, the company’s Japanese division has unveiled a new DIY Gboard keyboard that takes a rather bizarre approach — moving the keys to you instead of making you move your fingers to them.
