(KRON) -- Oakland Police were investigating a hit-and-run on 17th Street and Lakeside Drive Saturday morning, police confirmed.
As of 7:30 a.m., detectives were at the scene where items are scattered across the roadway. Police have set up privacy screens but have not confirmed the pedestrian's condition.
Street closures are in effect for the investigation. Avoid the area if possible.
