Traders withdraw 'No UPI Day' protest after meeting FM Nirmala Sitharaman

The traders had raised concerns over the proposed 0.4% fee on eligible merchant UPI transactions above ₹2,000, saying it could affect small and medium businesses. The proposed charge is scheduled to take effect from October 15. NPCI has clarified that UPI transactions up to ₹2,000 will continue to have zero MDR and no GST impact.
